Regional Logistics Manager
Core Purpose of Job:
To ensure the effective flow of products from factories to sales vans by managing a large team that caters for inbound inventory, putaway, movement, storage, picking, and reconciliation of first grade inventory, as well as the effective reconciliation and destruction of wastage. This role also ensures that returnable packaging is adequately accounted for both in its issuing and its return to factory.
Areas of Responsibility (AOR)
1. To plan and facilitate all activities within the Logistics function via his team to ensure that staff are adequately trained, and rostered to supply the sales function with vans loaded with the required quantity and batch of stock at the right temperature and time in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
2. Ensure that all product is received and accounted for in terms of its quantity, batch, condition, as well as that it is stored at the correct temperature.
3. Ensure that all inventory is adequately rotated within both the depot warehouses as well as the region as a whole, and where necessary intervene with Supply planning to ensure that good rotation practices are maintained.
4. To ensure that FEFO principles are applied to all inventory, and that batch control is rigorously enforced both at product issue and receipt from the market
5. To maintain strict control on both short and long shelf life inventory, and that despite very complicated relationships between SARAS and SAP, ensure that Physical Inventory adjustments are fully accounted for and kept at an absolute minimum.
6. To ensure that van inventory is correct on the completion of a day, and that adequate control is maintained to ensure that no pilferage occurs whilst vans are on the ramps either being loaded or reconciled
7. To ensure that wastage and market returns are correctly recorded, and that adequate controls are in place to ensure that opportunities for fraud are minimised.
8. To provide support to sales so that any emergency or unplanned orders within reason are supplied
9. Ensure that Materials Handling Equipment is of the correct type, in the correct state of repair, and is operated safely. Ensure that all racking is maintained in a good state of repair.

Skills
Qualifications:
Essential
• University degree or equivalent with focus in Logistics, Transportations, similar
• 5 years experience in transport, warehousing and inventory management and high-sku environment.
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing initiatives to improve Distribution performance, including quality, service levels and costs.
• Have good spoken and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computer packages, including spreadsheets.

Experience:
Essential responsibilities executed (Generic Description)
• Minimum of five years experience in warehousing, transport and inventory management Exposure to computerized set up with strong negotiation and follow up skills



Logistics Supervisor
Logistics Supervisor
Core Purpose of Job:
To ensure required stock level in Depots with minimal Depot Loss, maintain villa & depot hygiene, implementation of Depot Operating Procedure, adhering recommonded Quality and Safety standard by monitoring the activities and performance of the staff reporting to him, by keeping the staff reporting to him motivated.
Areas of Responsibility (AOR):
Maintain Depot Stock Level.
Implement correct product handling standards are in the vehicle loads and warehouse storing.
Implementing Cold Chain Management in all vehicles before and during loading as well as cold stores to meet the Quality Standards.
Ensuring Depot hygiene and Cleanliness to meet the Company standards.
Adherence to Date Code Policy to meet the Company policies.
Ensure the issued crates from CPP to the Regions are returned accurately.
Ensure that all staff under his area of responsibility are well trained and motivated to carry out all responsibilities as per the Company standards.
Adherence to Health & Safety Policy to meet the Safety standards of the Company.
Adherence to Quality Systems to meet the Company standards.
Maintain the proper records that are in-line with the Company Systems.
Compile monthly receipt, dispatch and loss reports, reconciled product losses and complete logistical activity reports for RGM.
Ensure procurement​/​e of non-Central procurement items in depots of the Regions by following the procedures
Ensure rotation of stocks according to the Ageing level.
Ensure Villa Hygiene and Villa Maintenance.

Skills
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Business Studies​/​n/Management, Logistic​/​n or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Logistics​/​y Chain or equivalent.

Regional Refrigeration Manager
Core Purpose of Job:
Effectively support the Region by managing the Cold chain, repairs and maintenance of the Depot cold stores, shop fridges and Depot / villa air conditioning.
Activities :-
1. Budget
• Preparing Refrigeration repair & maintenance budget for the following year and justifying the same.
• Monitoring and controlling the repairs and Maintenance cost of the Refrigeration and Air-conditioning assets.
• Continually look into ways to improve refrigeration plant performance and reduce operational and maintenance cost submitting al proposals to DRM to develop strategies and submission to HQ for approval.
• Ensuring “Cost Saving”- wherever possible without compromising quality and safety.
2. People
• Developing the Refrigeration Tech staff to the required standard, by training.
• Managing all personnel issues related to Refrigeration Tech Staff (vacations scheduling, contract renewals, performance appraisal, new staff induction, etc).
• Developing ITPs for the Refrigeration Tech staff.
• Effectively managing the health & safety activities in the region in co-ordination with other functions – Assist Logistics and other departments in technical issues pertaining to HO&S
3. Operational Management
• Managing the Refrigeration and Air conditioning repair and maintenance work system for efficiency and adherence to standards
• Refrigeration cabinet or stock loss or damage investigations and reporting to all concerned and completing the insurance claim formalities.
• Ensuring safe work practices in workshops.
• Monitoring any performance problem with Coolstore Refrigeration, Refrigeration Shop cabinets and Depot Air conditioning assets and referring to suppliers- in consultation with DRM.
• Carrying out special assignments as advised by DRM .
• Scheduling, and monitoring the servicing of the fridges.
4. Customer Service
• Ensuring the scheduling to attend the shop fridge complaints in the shortest possible time. (within 24 hrs)
• Ensuring the shifting of fridges between shops as requested by sales team.
• Extending technical assistance to Logistics in maintaining the depot and accommodations Air-conditioning units.
• Ensuring efficiency in attending shop fridge complaints in the market.
5. Asset Management
• Monitoring and controlling spares purchase & stock level.
• Keeping an account of the number of fridges within the region.( weekly KPI′s)
Assisting the regional team in disposing of redundant refrigeration Asset.

Skills
Qualifications:
Essential
 Degree / Diploma in Refrigeration / Air-conditioning with five years experience
 Diploma in Management or five years experience at management level
 Computer literacy: Microsoft Office
Desirable.
Driving license
Experience:
Essential responsibilities executed (Generic Description)
• Experience with working in a multinational / cultural environment
• 5 years experience in Refrigeration Management involving suppliers/ customers environment.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining coolstores and self-contained cabinet
Desirable responsibilities (Generic Description)
Exposure in refrigeration engineering and design related to refrigeration within cold store.

Electrician
Core Purpose of Job:
To maximise the operational availability and efficiency of all electrical & maintenance equipments by executing all planned preventative maintenance programs. This will cover fault finding​/​s shooting and subsequent corrective action on unplanned stoppages in a safe and efficient manner.
Areas of Responsibility (AOR):
1.To plan and execute planned preventative maintenance to all region depots staff accomodation and office buildings equipments to meet the demands of the business.
2.To ensure compliance of quality procedures by meeting region depot target for continuous improvement with in his department.
3.To ensure full implementaion of safety system and safe practices of work and continually practices this with in his department team.
4. To ensure reducing break down of depots equipments
5.To share the knowledge and skill to other technicians to creat a good team.
Activities:
1. To executing planned preventative maintenance program as assigned in timely and efficient manner
2. To check and maintenance of chillers .and A/C s in all region depots and office buildings
3. Operate duties in a safe and competent manner and report immediately and unsafe or defective equipment
4. Ensure safe system of work and work permits are in place and followed.
5. Identify cost reduction opportunities and report to logistic supervisor.
6. Maintain required standards of housekeeping in work place
7. Conduct all duties according to company standard operation procedures.
8. Conduct duties hygienically, efficiently and with in the specified quality standards
9. Submit purchase requisition for purchase goods for accommodation and office building repairs to Logistic supervisor.
10. All agreed change parts to be clearly identified and tagged for further investigation
11. Driving is also involved, may be asked to help move assets round the region.

Skills
Qualifications:
- Level 2 educated
- Diploma in electrical ,discipline (industrial and domestic) certificate plus relevant experience in same
- poken and written English
- Age 25 to 35
- Driving licence
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in general building discipline
- Able to undertake minor building repairs work
- Able to work independently

Refrigeration Technician
Areas of Responsibility:
1. Attends to fridge breakdowns in quickest possible time.
2. Plans and executes preventive maintenance service.
3. Investigation of major component fridge failures and reporting to Regional Refrigeration Manager, Workshop Foreman​/​r
4. Monitoring operational functioning of different brands of fridges.
5. Suggests ideas for improving performance and reducing maintenance cost.
6. Install new fidges.
Activities:
1. Attends to fridge breakdowns on priority in close communication with sales staff.
2. Accounts for fridge transfer and installation.
3. Updates Fridge Register.
4. Gives feedback to Regional Refrigeration Manager for any irregular maintenance required.
5. Supports refrigeration jobs (Cooling Unit and Cold Stores).
6. Repairing and preventive maintenance of depot A/C and Fridges
7. Supporting the maintenance of electrical equipments of depot and villa.
8. Assists Outer Depot Mechanic for some refrigeration and electrical works.
9. As part of workshop, he cooperates with all staff in meeting Key demands.
10. Maintains health and safety working procedures.
11. Takes care of quality standards as regards to the fridges in the market.
12. Ensure clean work environment.
13. Attend to other maintenance jobs when finding free time and as required by his supervisor.

Skills
Qualifications:
1. 2 years Refrigeration and Air conditioning course from a recognized Technical Institute
2. Certificate in electrical or refrigeration
3. Valid driving license, ability to drive 4-wheel light vehicle
4. Basic spoken and written English
5. 25-35 years of age
Experience:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as Fridge or Air Conditioning Technician, with focus on walk-in and transport refrigeration
